what i'm thinkin'... is that all these greedy bastards - promotors, producers, lawyers, and the bands - are in it strictly for the money. put up a mirror and take a quick look. The Dead are w/Obama, Springsteen is w/WalMart, Phish are arresting and sueing dudes for selling t-shirts in the parking lot. all these old-fart pla-yas are more and more into me-Me-ME, and The Money. Fans are getting screwed. TicketMeister scalping their own tickets in your face -- in full public view.

And "Michael" showing up the other day in London. gimme a break. Seems like String Cheese Incident is the only famous band not yet back on tour - out of fresh (Aug 07) retirement. Although the Cheese did do that one virtual concert in HD at Red Rocks afterwards.

Mick accepts the knight-hood from The Queen, how many years ago? How many thousands does it cost to see The Rolling Prunes? Isn't Dylan commercial now? What's the difference between all these performers and say, Barbara Streisand - as far as what it's costing us fans these days? At least Willie Nelson is a great musician and a REAL steward who we can still look up to and respect. And of course, we still have Pete Seeger. At least we have some great GD memories being kept alive here. Thanks for that.

The "housing bubble" burst a year ago. When will the "ticket bubble" burst?
